Langostinos

Camanchaca are proud to call themselves experts in Cooked and Peeled Langostinos. Ever since the beginning of Camanchaca, back in 1965, Langostinos have been a major product for the company.
Today Camanchaca is holding 80% of the total quota for langostinos in Chile, making them the, by far, biggest producer in Chile.
The Langostinos are caught by Camanchaca's own fleet of trawlers, and brought live to the plant in Tomé. Here the Langostinos are cooked, then handpeeled and blanched seconds prior to freezing. The handpeeling is securing us a perfect product. Colour is perfectly red and the tender sweet taste is kept with the product and not washed into the drain. Every Langostino is entire, and no broken or damaged product will occure.
The plant in Tome, Manuel Montt 1941, Chile (plant number 08143) is like all Camanchaca facilities, equiped with all the latest technology, and quality is secured by a fully integrated HACCP quality regulations compliance certificate issued by the National Fisheries Service of Chile, Sernapesca.
